Highlights
OpenAI
In collaboration with OpenAI, Epoch AI developed FrontierMath to evaluate the mathematical capabilities of frontier AI models through original, extremely challenging mathematical problems. We enlisted over 70 expert mathematicians to craft hundreds of entirely original, research‑level problems and maintain ongoing evaluations of AI models on the benchmark.
AI Index
Epoch AI is a data provider for the AI Index Report, an annual summary of the state of the AI field created by the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence. HAI relies on Epoch AI to provide accurate and up-to-date information on AI models, development progress and bottlenecks, and training and inference costs
Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI)
Epoch AI collaborated with EPRI to produce a report analyzing the trends driving growth in power demand for training frontier AI models, and forecasting power demand for AI training runs and the AI sector as a whole. This report will help EPRI and its partners in the energy and technology industries understand and plan for AI’s impact on electric grids.
