Who we are
Epoch AI is a nonadvocacy research nonprofit helping the public understand what is happening in AI from a neutral perspective and grounded in evidence. We track the drivers of AI progress, measure AI capabilities, and forecast AI’s impact on the economy and society. Founded in 2022, our collaborators include the UK Department for Science, Innovation & Technology, Google DeepMind, OpenAI, and EPRI.
