Meta Aiken

Trenton, South Carolina, United States

Meta Aiken is an AI data center under construction in Trenton, SC, USA, with AI chips owned and used by Meta. No IT power is online yet; it is projected to host an estimated 162k H100-equivalent chips — supported by 142 MW — at a capital cost of $5.4 B. The timeline of IT power and compute capacity is based on satellite imagery, our cooling equipment power model, structural similarity to known buildings, chip availability, and chip efficiency. Announced in August 2024 as a more than $800 million investment, Aiken will be Meta’s 22nd U.S. data center.
